Frank Bowling: Making and Unmaking
The artist’s first exhibition in Istanbul, bringing Frank Bowling’s works together with paintings by Francis Bacon and Victor Willing.
On view at Pera Museum from 29 September 2026 to 31 January 2027, the exhibition presents works from more than six decades of Frank Bowling’s practice alongside paintings by Francis Bacon and Victor Willing. Curated by Alistair Hicks, it includes large-scale canvases from the Map Paintings series and works shown for the first time.
