Correct packing is the first and most important step of safe transport. In our workshop we build climate-buffered wooden crates and use acid-free materials tailored to each object’s size, weight and fragility, providing layered protection against shock, vibration, humidity and temperature change.
From the corner protection of a painting to the internal frame of a heavy sculpture, every detail is planned with an engineering approach. Our aim is that the work undergoes no change from the moment it enters the crate to the moment it comes out.
We produce solutions for every need, from single-use shipping crates to reusable travelling (touring) crates.

Materials & Method
Every material we use is chosen so as not to harm the object it touches: acid-free papers, chemically neutral foams, moisture-barrier layers and durable wooden construction. Crate design accounts for the work’s centre of gravity, its orientation in transit and any potential risks.
